Billy Slone, 48, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family after a courageous battle with cancer. A devoted husband, loving father, caring son, brother, uncle, and loyal friend, Billy’s greatest joy in life was the time he spent with the people he loved most.
Billy was the heart of his home — a man whose laughter filled every room and whose presence brought comfort, warmth, and endless love. He cherished every moment spent with his four children, whether it was playing games, sharing stories, cheering loudly with excitement, or simply enjoying the beautiful chaos of family life. To his children, he was not only a father but a best friend, protector, teacher, and source of unconditional love.
He shared a deep and beautiful love with his wife, Mara, who stood faithfully by his side through every chapter of life. Together they built a home filled with laughter, strength, compassion, and unforgettable memories. Billy loved nothing more than being at home with Mara and their children, surrounded by the family he treasured so deeply.
Billy will be remembered for his kind heart, gentle spirit, unwavering strength, and the way he made everyone around him feel loved and welcomed. Even during his illness, he faced each day with courage, dignity, and an enduring love for his family.
He leaves behind his beloved wife, Mara; his four cherished children: Brennan, Aidan, Kiernan and Torunn; parents Thomas & Charlynn and mother Nancy; brother Jason and sister Cassandra, along with many loving family members and friends who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts.
Though his time here was far too short, Billy’s love, laughter, and spirit will live on in the countless memories he created with those who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered
