Margaret P. Coraci

Margaret P. Coraci, age 87 years, of New Port Richey, FL, passed May 14th at HCA Bayonet Point Hospital, after a long battle with cardiovascular disease.

She was born in Oneida, KY July 13, 1938, to the late George and Rosa Horne. Margaret and her family later moved to Detroit, MI, where she met the love of her life, Paul Coraci. The two began their lives together in Hazel Park, MI, where Margaret was a homemaker and they raised 3 daughters. Later in life the pair moved to Florida, where Margaret worked as a telephone operator for 14 years.

Throughout her life Margaret enjoyed cooking, bowling, and spending time with friends and family. She is survived by 3 daughters Linda (husband Gary) Penisson, Doreen (husband the late Allen) Gilbert, and Paula Coraci-Welch; 5 grandchildren Melanie (husband Cody) Whitman, Gary (wife Joanna) Penisson, Rachelle (husband John) Hetzer, Christina (husband Sam) Cloutier, and Margie Welch; as well as 8 great-grandchildren. Margaret enjoyed a long, happy life. She was able to be a stay-at-home mom to raise her girls and able to help raise some of her grandkids.

To honor Margaret’s wishes there will not be a service and instead would ask that her family and friends remember the fun times we all shared and take care of one another. “
