Richard Kolany

     It is with great sadness and heartbreak that we announce the sudden passing of Rick Kolany.

Rick was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, later moving to Bloomingdale where he started his career as a Teamster Ready mix driver for over thirty years. He had a lifelong dream of riding a Harley in the mountains of Colorado and across the United States. Rick was indeed living out his dream since his retirement, posting his adventures online while traveling across the country in his RV and on his Harley. Rick was a fun-loving person and was always ready to lend a hand to anyone who needed it. He really enjoyed a good conversation with family, friends, or even strangers he met along the way.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, Joseph J. Kolany and Buelah Marie Kolany. He is survived by his brothers, Russell (Peggy) and James; and his sister, Debra (Kevin) O'Toole. Dear uncle of Danielle (Craig) Alshouse, Shannon (Rick) Anderson, Bobby (Kristen) O'Toole, and Brianna Kolany. He also leaves behind many cousins and dear friends including Kathy Kolany.

He will be greatly missed!
