Rosemary Bouse

Rosemary Bouse, 100, a resident for over 50 years of New Port Richey, Florida, died on Wednesday-December 17, 2025, at Trinity Memory Care. She was born on October 30, 1925, to the late Margaret (Rosamilia) and James DeSanto. She attended St. Joseph’s Catholic School and was a long-time parishioner of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Renovo.

She was married to Donald L. Haas on February 18, 1946. They were married for 21 years, until his death on July 22, 1967.

On November 7, 1968, Rosemary and Robert Bouse wed at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Renovo. Rosemary on that day was blessed to be the stepmother to six wonderful children. Her two stepson, Owen and Robin, and her husband, Bob, had preceded her in death. Surviving are her four stepdaughters- Mary (Dennis, Sr.) Anderson of Westport, Pennsylvania; Anita (Gary) Hocker of Milanville, Pennsylvania; Susan (Cagle) Weatherford of Blairsville, Georgia and Lorrie (Walter) Pennington of Frisco, Texas. Rosemary has also been blessed with many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Rosemary and Bob moved to New Port Richey in 1970, where they enjoyed living on the water for many years and were active members of St. Thomas Acquinas Catholic Church. Rosemary was a spiritual woman and an active member in the Catholic Daughters and Lazareth team at St. Thomas Acquinas. There will be a Christian Memorial Service for Rosemary at St. Thomas Acquinas Catholic Church – 8320 Old County Road 54 in New Port Richey Florida on Saturday, January 24th at 10:00am with Fr. George presiding over the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Rosemary’s home parish of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 925 Huron Avenue, Renovo, Pennsylvania 17764 or to St. Thomas Acquinas Catholic Church, 8320 Old County Road 54, New Port Richey, Florida 34653. Rosemary’s final resting place will be at the Hyner Catholic Cemetery in Hyner Pennsylvania this spring
