Susan E. Boilard

Susan E. Boilard, 78, passed away peacefully on May 17, 2026, with her husband Denis by her side.

Susan was a deeply caring and giving woman whose faith in God guided her throughout her life. She was known for her kindness, compassion, and unwavering devotion to those she loved. Her greatest joys came from spending time with her family, especially her sons, grandchildren, her beloved husband Denis, her dear friends, and her brother Glenn in Trinity, Florida.

A devoted member of Bible Baptist Church in Palm Harbor, Florida, Susan found great strength, purpose, and community through her church family. Her faith was central to her life, and she faithfully dedicated her time, love, and service to her church and to those in need.

She is survived by her loving husband, Denis Boilard of Trinity, Florida; her sons, Jonathan Shankweiler of Virginia and David Currie of Rhode Island; her stepdaughters, Jennifer Boilard and Katie Cassidy; her cherished grandchildren Sophia, Jonathan, James, Jack, Lucas, and Keira; and her brother, Glenn Currie of Florida. She also leaves behind many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will miss her greatly.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Dale Currie and Frances Currie; her older brother, William Currie; and her sister, Patricia Currie.

Susan touched many lives and was admired for her sharp wit, strong convictions, and fearless honesty, qualities that made her truly unforgettable to all who knew and loved her. Her warmth, generosity, and steadfast faith were evident in the way she cared for others and shared her love so freely. She brought comfort, laughter, and strength to those around her, and her memory will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
